R-Fed vs. Roddick...

...at 3:30 a.m., who's with me?

-- BTW Sharapova and Serena Williams' ass are still in the women's draw.

-- In case you needed proof that the NHL is back, there's nothing that says revival more than a mid-week All-Star Game on the "Versus" network.

-- ESPN ranks the 80 Super Bowl teams and gives the nod to the 1989 San Francisco 49ers over the 1985 Chicago Bears. I have to agree based on the Bears' 14-point beatdown in the Orange Bowl that season. Had the Patriots not shocked upset the Dolphins at home I wonder how the rematch in New Orleans would have turned out. The also rank the 2003 Rams over 30 spots above the 2003 Patriots team that beat them, once again I agree.

-- Peyton Manning sounds off.

The Daily Bread

-- Ninth Bengals player arrested in 2006-07 season. I have nothing funny to add to this.

-- Bill Parcells retires for the final time (we think) and T.O. ceremoniously kicks him on the way out.

-- Floyd Mayweather Sr. says that even though he and his son, world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., don't see eye-to-eye he will not help train Oscar de la Hoya to beat him...unless he gets two million dollars.

-- The NBA's new dynamic duo rolls in their first game together after Nuggets are granted special request to use two balls on offense.

-- Meanwhile the Knicks allow the Miami Heat to go on a 27-0 first-quarter run despite playing without D-Wade and Shaq.

-- Maria Sharapova is still in the Australian Open. Yippee!!
