The Daily Bread


-- Ninth Bengals player arrested in 2006-07 season. I have nothing funny to add to this.


-- Bill Parcells retires for the final time (we think) and T.O. ceremoniously kicks him on the way out.


-- Floyd Mayweather Sr. says that even though he and his son, world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., don't see eye-to-eye he will not help train Oscar de la Hoya to beat him...unless he gets two million dollars.


-- The NBA's new dynamic duo rolls in their first game together after Nuggets are granted special request to use two balls on offense.


-- Meanwhile the Knicks allow the Miami Heat to go on a 27-0 first-quarter run despite playing without D-Wade and Shaq.


-- Maria Sharapova is still in the Australian Open. Yippee!!
