A-Rod: The Best Ever?George Brett thinks so. And who am I to argue?
“How old is he? Thirty-two?” Brett said. “He’ll blow by them. They won’t even be on the radar screen in five or six years. He’ll do it by the time he’s 38. That’s 40 a year, and he can hit 30 a year in his sleep. You tell him he can’t bat right-handed, and he’ll hit 30 left-handed.”
Rodriguez, who hit his 499th home run last night will be the youngest player to reach 500 homers by an entire year! He's on pace for 55 HRs and 158 RBI this season!
At his current pace I believe A-Rod will challenge for 900 home runs. He not just going to shatter the current record, but he's going to set a record that will last my lifetime.
